Fifth European Psychoanalytic Film Festival
The 4th European Psycho-analytic Film Festival (epff4), which was held on 1 - 4 November in London. Over 300 delegates from 20 different countries participated in the events and enjoyed seeing and discussing the films with psycho-analysts and psycho-therapists, in constructive dialogue with the film makers themselves: editors, producers, directors, screenwriters and actors.
This year the Film Festival included films from European countries represented for the first time at epff such as Switzerland, Greece, Portugal, Austria and Belgium and centered around the thesis of Children in Focus, as indeed most of the movies had children or adolescents as protagonists – either in playful or traumatic situations.
